About this Talk

Strengthen communication where it matters most

Skills like communication, connection, and conflict resolution – once labelled “soft skills” – are now recognized as essential to both organizational and individual success. These skills shape how we connect in meetings and guide how we show up in challenging moments, influencing everything from trust and innovation to a sense of belonging. Effective workplace communication is foundational to psychological health and safety.

In this session, Steven Mah explores how everyday interactions shape team relationships and performance. Participants will reflect on practical adjustments in language and behaviour to navigate difficult conversations, give constructive feedback, and build a more engaged, resilient, and high-performing workplace culture.
