Dr. Nina Gregoire

Ph.D.

Dr. Nina Gregoire is an expert in social psychology, a certified mediator, and speaker specializing in power dynamics, consent culture, and workplace communication. Her evidence-based presentations help organizations strengthen culture, navigate difficult conversations, and build safer, more respectful workplaces.

Dr. Gregoire completed her Honours Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree in Social Psychology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan and earned her PhD in Social Psychology at the University of British Columbia. She is also pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Essex with a focus on human rights and employment law, adding further depth to her work on workplace culture and institutional systems. She is an Associate Mediator on the MediateBC Roster. Dr. Gregoire is passionate about applied research that improves cultures within organizations, institutions, and corporate environments. Her work examines how evidence-based policy and legal frameworks can better shape these spaces, and her presentations are enriched by practical experience in dispute resolution and mediation. She is known for grounding her sessions in empirical evidence while drawing on real-world examples that resonate with leaders, teams, and decision-makers. She has delivered talks and workshops at national and international conferences, educational and community events, and corporate settings including Thrive Health’s grand rounds. Dr. Gregoire also contributes extensively to her community through volunteer work with organizations such as Access Pro-Bono, Options for Sexual Health, and Women in Science and Engineering. Outside of work and study, she enjoys spending time with family, maintaining wellness routines, meeting friends for coffee, and travelling.
